Practice Areas

  • Bankruptcy- Our firm represents individuals and commercial clients in bankruptcy proceedings that are initiated by either an insolvent individual or business. We focus on Chapter 13 proceedings to help people save their home from foreclosure. We have helped hundreds of people save their home from foreclosure by forcing the mortgage company into a reasonable repayment plan to catch up back payments over a period of three to five years. We also use Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 proceedings to assist our clients in restructuring or discharging obligations to alleviate pressure and give our clients a fresh start financially.

  • Debtor/Creditor- When collection is a necessity, turning to an experienced attorney can speed up the process. The collection process is driven by a maze of statutes and procedures that are confusing to both debtor and creditor. Sometimes a skilled negotiator can help the parties reach an agreement, eliminating the need for a burdensome legal collection. We have worked for commercial and individual clients to reach a resolution when the parties cannot agree on payment terms.

  • Wills- A will is a person's declaration of how one wants their property dispersed after death. Because there are complex regulations regarding the validity of any will, it is important to hire an attorney with knowledge and experience. It is also true that these regulations vary from state to state. Be sure to hire an attorney who continually seeks out changes in the rules to be sure your wishes can be honored after your death.

  • Probate & Estate Administration- Probate is the legal process by which a person's debts are paid and assets are distributed upon her or his death. Estate Administration includes the probate process as well as non-probate transfers of the deceased's assets. Individual state laws direct the probate court how to distribute the deceased's estate. State laws and procedures vary greatly, so, it is important to consult a firm with expertise in this area of the law to ensure that the deceased's assets are distributed correctly.

  • Estate Planning- Our firm handles a variety of estate planning matters, including planning for the distribution of an individual's property at his or her death and taking into account wills, taxes, insurance, property, and trusts so as to gain the maximum benefit of all laws, while, at the same time, carrying out the person's wishes.

  • Real Estate- Our firm represents both commercial clients and individuals in all proceedings and transactions that deal with real property land and the structures attached to it including purchase and sale, construction, mortgages and foreclosures, leases and quiet title actions.

  • Personal Injury- Our firm represents individuals involved in controversies alleging a wrong or damage to another's person, rights, reputation, or property resulting from events or activities such as automobile accidents, defective products, infliction of emotional distress, intentional misconduct, and negligence.
